CUSTOM AMP PANEL MATERIAL Once you have your artwork completed and ready to submit, the next thing you will need to do is choose a material for the panels. We stock a large selection of standard plastic and metal material. Listed below are our stock items and color combinations. In addition to these, other color combinations can be ordered from our suppliers but will incur a special order charge. The suppliers we use carry Innovative Plastics and Rowmark materials. Please choose only materials that are laser engravable. Rotary engraving materials will not laser engrave. Our stock materials consist of: Metals: MATTE BLACK ANODIZED ALUMINUM / DULL GRAY LASER MARK HIGH GLOSS BLACK ALUMINUM / BRIGHT SILVER LASER MARK HIGH GLOSS BLACK ALUMINUM / BRASSY GOLD LASER MARK SATIN GOLD ALUMAMARK / BLACK LASER MARK SATIN SILVER ALUMAMARK / BLACK LASER MARK (all metals are .020 thick except the anodized aluminum which is .025 or .040) Front Engraved Plastic Material: BLACK SURFACE / WHITE ENGRAVING WHITE SURFACE / BLACK ENGRAVING BRUSHED SILVER SURFACE / BLACK ENGRAVING BRUSHED GOLD SURFACE / BLACK ENGRAVING (all stocked plastics are roughly 1/16" thick) Reverse Engraved Plastic Material: CLEAR SURFACE / BLACK BACKGROUND CLEAR SURFACE / WHITE BACKGROUND CLEAR SURFACE / SILVER BACKGROUND CLEAR SURFACE / GOLD BACKGROUND CLEAR SURFACE / BROWN BACKGROUND (all stocked plastics are roughly 1/16" thick) Reverse plastic materials include backfilling with either black or white paint. Any custom colors that you would like to use for backfilling will be your responsibility and are easily obtained from any craft store. You must however use ONLY ACYRLIC based paints on the reverse plastic materials. Use of any other type of paint will ruin the finish. Also, do not use any type of LOCTITE OR THREADLOCKER as these chemicals will cause the reverse plastic materials to spider crack. In addition, do not use GLUE OR ADHESIVES on the reverse plastic materials as it will chemically react with the finish on the back. Double sided acrylic tape is an acceptable way to attach the reverse plastic material to the chassis. We can provide tape if you need it. BNP Lasers will not be responsible for damage due to incorrect paint selection or the use of any above mentioned materials on reverse engraved plastic.
